Plot[]

At school, Kenan and Kel are getting things from their lockers. Janet arrives and greets the boys with her usual smarm. The bell rings, and Janet snarks that she can't wait to hear their book reports, then leaves for class. Kenan is angry, because he asked Kel the previous night if the book reports were due that day, but Kel was sure it was due later in the week. Kenan says the English teacher will fail them both for not writing their reports, but Kel advises they make something up.

The students sit down as the bell rings. A teacher enters and greets the class, but she is not the regular English teacher. The students are confused and ask what is happening. The new teacher introduces herself as Miss Horn, and explains that the regular teacher checked herself into a mental treatment facility due to the stress from her job. She adds that she will be teaching English for the next few weeks, and book report presentations will proceed as planned. A few students volunteer, but Miss Horn picks Kel to go first. Kel decides to make something up, but ends up running from the class in a panic. Janet asks to go next, and Miss Horn lets her. Janet takes nearly the whole class period to present her report. Miss Horn then asks Kenan to go next. Kenan goes to the front of the class and stalls for a bit, but the bell rings for the end of class. Miss Horn says that everyone else will need to present their reports tomorrow.

The students all leave, but Miss Horn asks Kenan to stay behind. She says that while she won't give Kenan an F for the late book report, she wants their relationship should start on the right foot, and that means being honest with her. Kenan thanks her for understanding, and swears he will do the report. He leans down to get his backpack, but grunts in pain. He explains he hurt his back when lifting something at Rigby's. Miss Horn says she can help since her father was a chiropractor. She has Kenan cross his arms over his chest, and then she reaches around with her arms. Kel watches through the window as she squeezes him to her, and pops his back into place.

At Rigby's, Kel tells Kenan that Miss Horn has a crush on him. Kenan denies this, explaining that Miss Horn was adjusting his back. But, Kel becomes even more convinced when Kenan mentions Miss Horn talking about their "relationship." Chris enters, and Kenan tries to get Chris on his side. Chris agrees that it is not likely for an older woman to like a teenage boy, since that never happened to him. Kel then asks what age of women typically like Chris. Chris leaves in a huff. Mrs. Quagmire enters, and Kel decides to ask for her opinion on relationships between older women and younger men. Mrs. Quagmire misinterprets this as Kel flirting, and chases him with amorous intent.

The following day, Kenan gives his book report at school. Miss Horn is impressed, specifically with how Kenan described the book's main character and his love for his wife. Kel teases Kenan for this, and continues to do so into his shift at Rigby's later. Kenan again denies that Miss Horn likes him, but Kel points out that she does not talk to other students the way she talks to Kenan. Miss Horn then enters the store and greets the boys. Kel teases Kenan again. After Miss Horn grabs her groceries and goes to check out, she asks Kenan to stay after class again to help her with something. Kel is shocked and spits out his orange soda. Kenan asks why, and Miss Horn explains that she needs a "big, strong man" to help her out. Kel teases Kenan again.

Kenan and Kel go to the Rockmore house, and Kel asks numerous questions about if he can be "Uncle Kel-Kel" to his future kids. Kenan pushes Kel out the door. Sheryl, Roger, and Kyra all ask about Kenan's "girlfriend." Kenan again denies having a girlfriend. Kel somehow gets back into the house, and tells the other Rockmores about Kenan's "girlfriend", but don't mention that she is a teacher. Eventually the whole group starts a chorus of "Kenan's Got A Girlfriend." Kenan responds by spraying them all with the hose from the kitchen sink. Later that night, Kenan is annoyed at everyone's teasing and goes to sleep. He ends up having a dream where he dances the tango with Miss Horn, then accepts her proposal of marriage.

The next day at school, Miss Horn teaches the class. The bell rings, and the class starts leaving. Kel insists that he stay and "chaperone" the situation. Kenan pushes him out the door. Miss Horn thanks Kenan for his help, asking him to grab a stepladder from the closet so they can hang some heavy frames for class decorations. Kel manages to find a ladder and peek into the window from outside. Miss Horn gets on the stepladder, but when turning to get something, she falls off. Kenan catches her in his arms. Kel panics and falls off the ladder, but Miss Horn and Kenan don't notice. Kenan then gets something in his eye, and it hurts him. Miss Horn turns his face towards her to see into Kenan's eye. Kel arrives back at the door, and sees how close Miss Horn and Kenan are. He screams and runs into the room, separating the two. Kel demands that Miss Horn leave Kenan alone and find someone her own age. Miss Horn gets angry, and Kenan explains the things that Kel saw as completely innocent and harmless. Kel is finally convinced that Miss Horn isn't attracted to Kenan.

A moment later, a man enters, asking Miss Horn if she is ready to leave. Miss Horn calms down, and introduces Kenan and Kel to her boyfriend, Kevin. The three men are all surprised at how similar Kenan and Kevin look.
